Using Ringstead

Ringstead is an AI answering and scheduling application for businesses. You are responsible for the accuracy of your business knowledge, published availability, transfer destinations, and instructions. Review summaries and confirm important details with your customers.

Calls and availability

AI can misunderstand callers and services can experience interruptions. Keep a working human fallback and test forwarding before relying on the service. Ringstead is not an emergency service, and it must not be used for emergency dispatch or regulated advice.

Subscriptions

Plans include the monthly call minutes and phone number allowances shown at checkout. New AI calls are limited by the remaining allowance. Unused minutes do not roll over. No automatic overage charges are enabled. Stripe’s billing portal displays subscription changes, proration, invoices, and cancellation details before confirmation.

Business responsibilities

Use the service only for lawful business calls. Provide required notices and obtain any required consent for AI processing or transcription. Do not impersonate others, collect prohibited sensitive information, or use the application for unsolicited calling. Keep direct human transfer numbers current and avoid forwarding loops.

Ending service

Cancel a subscription in the billing portal. Number release and data deletion are separate operator-managed processes. Export any records you need before requesting deletion. Cancelling a plan does not automatically erase customer data or release your telephone number.

Commercial terms

Before public commercial launch, the platform operator must publish its legal company identity, support contact, final payment and refund terms, applicable law, liability terms, and any service commitments. These product terms document the current application behavior and require operator review before commercial use.
